We welcome collaborations across audiology, digital health, data science, and public health. Whether you are a prospective student, a researcher, or an industry partner — there is a place for you in the Virtual Hearing Lab.
We supervise students across audiology, consumer health informatics, digital health, and mHealth research. Projects are available at both the University of Colorado and the University of Pretoria. Backgrounds in hearing sciences, public health, or data science are all welcome.
We collaborate with researchers across audiology, linguistics, informatics, engineering, and medicine. We are especially interested in international partnerships focused on low- and middle-income settings, and in complementary datasets in consumer hearing health.
Current partners include hearX Group, Sonova, Lexie Hearing, Hear Advisor, and Hearing Tracker. We offer independent academic evaluation of hearing technologies, consumer insights research, and collaborative grant-funded projects.
